Allow the game in Chrome or Edge

  1. Open the game page. Select the site controls icon beside the address, then open Site settings.
  2. Set Microphone to Allow. If it was Blocked, change it and reload the game tab.
  3. Select the actual microphone. Prefer the named headset or built-in microphone over Default when Default points to a disconnected or virtual device.
  4. Close duplicate game tabs. Another active tab can hold the device or create feedback.

Check operating system access

Windows

Open Settings, Privacy & security, Microphone. Allow microphone access and allow desktop apps to use it.

macOS

Open System Settings, Privacy & Security, Microphone. Enable the browser, then fully reopen it if macOS requests that step.

Android

Open App info for the browser, Permissions, Microphone, then choose Allow while using the app.

iPhone and iPad

Open Settings, Privacy & Security, Microphone, then enable the browser. If the site was denied separately, clear or update its website permission and reload.

Complete Mic Check

  1. Stay quiet for the silence sample. Expected result: the game learns the room noise floor.
  2. Speak at your normal performance level. Expected result: the meter responds without remaining pinned at its maximum.
  3. Apply the result. Record one short test line and listen for silence, clipping, or delay.

If the meter does not move, return to the device picker and choose the physical input explicitly.

Choose voice processing

Natural keeps more of the original room and voice character. Clean applies stronger processing when steady noise or room sound distracts from the line. Test both with the same short sentence and keep the one that sounds clearer without pumping or cutting word endings.

Reduce echo and noise

  • Wear headphones
  • Move 10 to 20 cm from the mic
  • Point speakers away or mute them
  • Close fans and noisy apps
  • Use one active microphone
  • Test at performance volume

Recover Microphone Interrupted

  1. Stop other calling, recording, or voice-chat apps.
  2. Confirm the selected device is still connected.
  3. Return the game tab to the foreground.
  4. Reload once and grant access again if asked.
  5. Run Mic Check before resuming the round.

Recording privacy

This guide page does not request microphone permission and does not collect or upload recordings. The separate embedded game handles its own microphone flow. This site cannot read audio or permission state across that game frame.

If it still fails

Record the device type, operating system, browser version, selected input label category (not a personal device name), and whether another recording site can see the microphone. Continue to Troubleshooting or the support path on the game website.
