Choose the room mode
Co-op
Up to 12 players share the scene and recording work. Use Co-op when the group wants one combined dub without competitive scoring.
PVP
Up to 8 players compete through assigned turns and results. These limits were verified on 2026-08-23 against the current web build and should be rechecked after game updates.
Fix Installing room mod
- Confirm the host selected one trusted Mod. Workshop Mods can sync through the room flow. A local Mod may require each player to import the same file separately.
- Wait for every player status to finish. Do not start while one client still shows Installing room mod.
- Refresh only the stalled player once. Rejoin with the same room code and allow the install to complete.
- Recreate the room if the host changed the Mod. A fresh room avoids a roster split between old and new pack state.
- Try a shorter known-working Mod. If that succeeds, report the original Mod source and size without sharing a private local filename publicly.
Recover a disconnect or room update
- Keep the host tab open and in the foreground.
- Reconnect the affected player once.
- If the server reports an update, let the host create a fresh room.
- Confirm all players appear in the new roster before continuing.
- Use Recent Dubs to retrieve a completed result when available.
Historical note: Past reports can describe disconnect behavior that later builds fixed. Treat a report as current only when it reproduces on the current web build.
Use host and turn controls
Claim Mode lets available players claim work. Round Robin rotates lines through the roster. Redo last line replaces the most recent take when the room needs a quick correction. Announce the selected flow before starting so players do not compete for the same prompt.
Save results before closing
Ask every player to finish previewing and downloading before the host closes the room. If a player misses the result screen, check Recent Dubs while the session is still available. Mobile players should keep the tab active and tap the final browser save control.
Prepare a useful bug report

- Diagnostic text shown by the game
Send the room code only through a private support channel if requested. Never publish it with account details.
